# Funding your account

> Deposit and withdraw on Monofin — USDC, cards, and bank transfers, one unified balance.

One USDC balance powers everything on Monofin: event markets, perpetuals, real-world assets, and Earn. Deposit with crypto or cash, withdraw to your own address anytime.

## Deposits

### Crypto

Send **USDC** from any supported chain to your Monofin deposit address. Most crypto deposits arrive within minutes.

> [!TIP]
>
> Your deposit address is yours — it belongs to the embedded wallet only you control. Always double-check the network before sending.

### Cards and bank transfer

Don't have crypto? Buy USDC directly in the app through the on-ramp:

* **Debit and credit cards** — the fastest option; funds typically land in minutes.
* **Bank transfer** — higher limits, typically 1–3 business days depending on your bank and region.

Card and bank purchases may require a one-time identity check with the on-ramp provider, and availability varies by region.

## Withdrawals

Withdraw USDC to **any address you control**, at any time. There are no lock-ups on your cash balance, and no withdrawal minimums beyond network fees.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Funds currently held in open positions or Earn vaults must be closed or withdrawn from the vault first. Vault withdrawals are subject to each vault's terms and available liquidity — see [Monofin Earn](/earn/what-is-monofin-earn).

## Where your money lives

Monofin is **non-custodial**:

* Your balance sits in an embedded wallet that only you control — Monofin never holds your assets.
* Every trade, deposit, and withdrawal is signed from your wallet.
* You can always move your funds out, even if you never open the app again.

See [Wallet and security](/account/wallet-and-security) for how the wallet works and how to protect your account.

## Fees

Monofin does not charge deposit or withdrawal fees. Network (gas) fees on crypto transactions and any on-ramp provider fees are shown before you confirm. Trading fees are itemized on every order ticket — see [Fees](/trading/fees).
